P.S. The screening and debate is great idea. Simon and I never thought that we were offering the once-and-for-all solution to the problems we face - we just wanted to get people talking. On this point, we're talking with the guys at opensource.com at the moment about setting up a similar event online. Should be cool - I'll keep you in the loop.

Hey Diogo. That's amazing, thanks for that! I'm putting together a list of people who want to help out - I'll send out a group email in the next few days with guidelines etc. There is no immediate hurry with the translations, since Simon won't be able to get to adding subs till September. He's moving country at the mo, and just had a kid, so he's kinda busy.

Your blog looks super cool. I'd punch the writing through Google Translate but I'm sure it wouldn't do justice!

US research? Absolutely. First, though, I'll need to visit half a dozen sites on the east coast to check that my Google Maps research for the last one was correct. I tried to locate the action in real sites, which took some imagination since I was viewing them from 200 ft in the air!

The novel looks cool. Are you going to be doing research for the next one during your trip to the US next year?
